Offering of trees
This one is all about the details.
These braids that I've been obsessed with for the longest time.
Just a few here in the raglan, and just a few more there in the split hem.
The rest is stockinette goodness is my favourite... Nutiden yarn.
This jumper is knitted is 4 strands of Nutiden yarn, and on a 7mm needle.
I think it took me less than a week to complete it and it's been my favourite woollen ally this winter!
In terms of yarn substitution, I recommend Plötulopi. But you will probably need to use 3 strands instead of 4 as Plötulopi tends to be thicker than the most recent Nutiden colorways.
Yarn
A note on yarn: Each Nutiden colorway is unique in its own way which means that the yarn weight/ yardage might differ from one plate to the next. For this reason, it is really hard to estimate yardage for this pattern, so an approximate yarn weight has been offered instead. In terms of yarn substitution, Plötulopi is probably the closest yarn that you could choose.
4 strands of Nutiden in the Enlightenment colorway 400 (500, 500, 600, 600, 600, 600, 700, 700, 800) g
Needles
US8 (5mm) for ribbing 7mm for body
Gauge
A note on gauge: due to the nature of Nutiden yarn, you might find that you can only achieve tension with 3 strands instead of 4 when using a different colorway or when substituting with another yarn.
