Here’s a little video of when I was working on the sample.
Right after making my Wild Posy jumpers, I new that I needed a matching hat!
One plate of Plötulopi is plenty for all the sizes. So if you have leftovers from making your Wild Posy jumpers this hat could be a great way to finish off all of the remaining bits of yarn that you have left.
Wild Posy is a cosy hat, knit using two strands of Plötulopi held together.
It has a similar construction to my Brume hat, with four sets of decreases on the top, which makes it very roomy around the head, and quite tall on top.
Yarn
1 plate of Plotulopi yarn held double (show in the 1038 colorway)
100% unspun icelandic wool
100g - 328 yards (300m) or about 328 yards (300m) of worsted weight yarn
Needles
US6 (4mm) for ribbing
US8 (5mm) for the body
Gauge
21 sts x 28 rounds = 4” (10cm) in pattern, on bigger needles when knit in the round, after blocking
