A Skyrim-inspired knit!
The design features a fitted body with extra roomy sleeves to balanced the silhouette out. The back is knit first, then stitches are picked up for both the left front and right front. Extra stitches are cast-on for the neckline then back and front are joined and worked in the round.
Two strands of DK weight yarn are held together (I've used Bouclelaine Roussin Alpaga DK, which is a yarn that is produced right at my doorstep!) to create this open and chunky-looking lace design. I originally thought that this would create a rather heavy sweater, but the combination of the two stands of DK is actually surprisingly light weight. Perhaps the fact that the stitch pattern is an all-over lace one, helps a little bit with that.
