Wildflowers path jumper
Wildflowers path jumper
The sweater that shouldn’t have been!
This sweater actually the result of a “failed” previous design which was fully textured and had intarsia in the center! One part of me really loved it, but the other half felt so out of her comfort zone. So after setting it aside for a few weeks, I picked my scissors one day and chopped it in half!
I saved the remaining yoke portion which features this so addictive slipped stitch pattern, but knew that I needed to add a little something extra.
So after playing with different embellishment techniques, I settled on a simple flower embroidery stitch which I adore! I think that it add the perfect amount of “whimsicalness” to a very simple design!
